It was bound to happen sooner or later. Geno Smith blew his cool as he left the
field after loss and gave a big **** you to a fan that the camera's caught.

I will predict now that he's done in in NY. The NY media now that they've
broken him won't let up. Not even his agent can help.

As a topper to the day for Jets pr staff Sheldon Richardson when asked for a
comment said that Jet's fans should "shut up".

Who was the Bears quarterback that once told fans they should stay home and "boo their TVs"?

That went over well inside the organization.

He also apologized in the post-game presser.

He's not finished for losing his cool. He's finished because he sucks.

He also said if the fans don't like it, they're free to have babies and train them to get to NFL and do better.

At least Geno was finally assertive and made a quick and decisive decision on the f-bomb.

He can build on this.

Ironic on the day when one of the classiest athletes in NY history plays his last game
that Geno drops his f bomb on fans.

Respect and Disrespect

I think Raj should suspend Geno for a game of showing such disrespect

I'm sure his 2-8 record as a starter at the time didn't help either.

I think that's who it was.

That's a pretty good line.

The Daily News could've done better with their cover. It's well short of this excellence:

It is just silly to say Smith is finished because he lost his temper. If he starts playing better and the team wins, nobody will care if he behaves like a jerk.

I would have like to see pictures of Jeter and Geno side by side
with the headline

RE2PECT AND DISRE#PECT

Unfortunately, the f-bomb was intended for the guy in the fifth row, not the guy in the second row who ended up arguing with.

Jets fans were non-ironically chanting, "We Want Vick!" That's a fan base that deserves for its team to suck.

And CBS intercepted it
