I had applied for this job in the spring but was told five days before the closing date that the position had already been filled. I thought that was kind of odd but whatever ... does anyone sense from the tone of the ad that they were less than pleased with their choice?

Duties will include a wide range of subjects including feature writing and special sections. A working knowledge of QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop and MacIntosh computer is essential.
