Bowen has tons of tweets about it, but basically a media relations staffer told beat writers to quiet down, McLane questioned them and they gave him the heave-ho.

The person who made the decision was Anne Gordon, senior VP.

Get over yourself. "The admonishment was inappropriate"? Tough ****, it happens, and now you can't do your job right.

Yeah, media, and grab some of that bread and water on your way out. That's all you're getting tonight. :(

Beat writer tried to play the "Do you know who I am?" card and got called on it. Rest of the press box went back to their nachos, because you does anyone eally think reporters are going to push back?

I fail to understand how this beef even got started. The Eagles' press box is enormous. You'd need a bullhorn to be loud enough to disturb the room. There's got to be some other deal going on here, such as a season-long personal enmity or the Eagles' VP taking umbrage at something this guy had written.

I have absolutely no idea whether this tweet prior to his ejection had anything to do with it.

If the Eagles would like treated with kid gloves they should try winning something or at least not being a half-assed operation. They won't win a PR battle against the Media because no one in the fanbase likes or respects Lurie or Howie. And I'm shocked that narcissist Eskin hasn't jumped in to make it about him yet.
