I'd still eat there and I'm 40...it's healthy and cheap.
:D

Oh, I eat Subway all the time.

Just never at Inner ****ing Harbor.

The worst Subway I've been to on the East Coast was one at the Inner Harbor. The sandwich was OK, the service was beyond slow and it was very expensive. Never again.

I think it's fairly safe to assume they got some kind of deal for pleading guilty. At least that is how I read it.

I'm sure your assumptions are correct, as opposed to the facts I just laid out for you.

So, the facts you laid out are incorrect? Well, thanks for that then. (Hint: Try re-reading your statement. And work on those writing skills).

You were basing your argument on an assumption, that there was no deal in place that limited what the judge could do. Perhaps while you are working on those writing skills, you should look up the definition of a fact, too.

::)

Weak, but at least you didn't mangle your meaning that time.

I'm sorry. I didn't have the patience last night to respond to what may have been the most idiotic post I've ever read.

My statement was sarcasm and, to be honest, we both know it. But you're so insecure that you insist on having an argument so you can be right at something, no matter how trivial. Lost the 'battle' so you try to 'win the war' by insulting my writing and my meaning when even your kid could have figured it out. You lead a sad existence.

Here are the facts. Let's say you're arrested for beating your kid. You have a couple of options: Go to trial or plead guilty. If this is your first offense you can talk to the prosecutor about a first-time offender program. In this, you plead guilty and get your record wiped clean once you complete some programs.

Let's say you've been caught red-handed and you have a history. You can approach the prosecutor and ask for a deal. Maybe you can turn on someone or the evidence isn't as strong as the prosecution would like. They may offer you a lesser charge a number of years in exchange for your plea. This is a negotiated plea. If the judge thinks the prosecutor is being too lenient with the offer, he can reject the plea and you can go to trial.

Let's say you don't want to go to trial but the prosecution is intent on putting you in jail for a long time. So you plead straight-up. In exchange for your plea, the prosecution may agree not to make a recommendation to the judge, nor will they contest your plea for leniency, but there is no deal in place.

Hope that is clear enough for you.

Oh, I understood your meaning just fine, despite your failure to express it clearly.

You are making assumptions just as I was, so please stop trying to bury that in a lot of bull****. I lost nothing, but I doubt you can understand that either. Neither of us knows what kind of deal may or may not have been in place. No matter how much crap you pile on top of your assumption, it still isn't a fact.

And if I were you, I would really work on my writing before I accuse anybody on this site of being idiotic. But you have a nice day now.

We probably were at the same Subway then. Of course, you were probably there several years after my experience there. But still.

Most likely. I was there a couple months ago. The city is beautiful and the view is breathtaking, but that Subway sucked sideways.

That's why you skip Subway and get yourself some soft-shelled crabs or crabcakes.

I actually didn't eat crab cakes for the first time until I was 33. And I'm a native of a state that's known for crabs.

I'm no stranger to either. I just wanted a quick, cheap lunch. That was a bad move.

Do you go to Mexico and order Taco Bell?

Do you travel to Rome and look for an Olive Garden?

This is Mikey you're talking about.

He won't see a Broadway play unless it's "Saved By the Bell - The Musical."

It wasn't my first time to the Inner Harbor. I've had the craps and the shrimp before, and I prefer them. But I wanted a sub that day, so I bought a sub.

Thank you. That's the only reasonable meal at Inner Harbor.

Or a pound of steamed shrimp.

Oh, my friend, you have obviously never tripped through Little Italy.

Now that's a great place. Just a few blocks past the Harbor, and you've got a slice of Italia.

Actually, I have. Good stuff.

But since I'm 2,500 miles away from Bal-mer, the place where I was born ... steamed shrimp and crabcakes are my meal of choice when I'm at Inner Harbor. Not Italian, which I can get anywhere.

A few months ago, I sat at someone's house and ate blue crabs with old bay sauce for about eight consecutive hours. I'd do it again any day of the week.

If I could install an IV of Old Bay to my arm, I would. Without hesitation.

I hadn't had it until that day. My ex-girlfriend spent three years talking the stuff up, but never really told me what it was. "It tastes amazing," she said. "You'll want to put it on everything." But she didn't tell me about its texture. When they opened the big box of blue crabs, I asked, "Do we have to wash the dirt off these suckers?" They all laughed at me. "That's old bay," her friend said. "I'd eat it out of a bowl if we weren't using it for the crabs."

Rock shrimp. With Old Bay (but not TOO much). Unlimited.

That was my first meal in Sanibel, Fla., two weeks ago. I could have cried with appreciation.
