How about the hazing he'll get from opponents?MisterCreosote said:I'd love to hear a full accounting of the hazing he receives from whatever team he ends up with.

Although there is a decent success rate lately for linebackers taken in the first round.
Aaron Curry and Ernie Sims are the only real first-round flameouts at the position going back 10 years.

Bobby Carpenter was pretty bad, too, but it's definitely a position with a high success rate.
I'm not sure about LongTimeListener's size complaint. He's 6-1, 248 pounds. There aren't many bigger middle linebackers.
Versatile said:Also, the poll is stupid. If my favorite NFL team had the 28th pick in the draft and needed a middle linebacker, I would Manti Te'o. If my favorite NFL team had the eighth pick in the draft and needed a middle linebacker, I would not want Te'o unless he was available in the second round.

I would not want him taking a roster spot on the team. That goes for a 1st round draft pick or an undrafted free agent signing. I would want Tebow before this guy.
