While this isn't sports specific, thought I'd post here since I always think sports when I think of digital newsroom leaders. Anyone with questions can send me a DM.

We're looking for a designer/copy editor to join our expanding digital team. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, for page layout and design, and AP style is important. We are looking for candidates who have strong visual skills to pull together related stories, photos and videos, into one attractive package, so some television or magazine experience would be a plus. Essential duties include writing and editing headlines and subheads for the Web, designing content pages, collaborating with editors, and copy editing local content. While these positions are at a Pulitzer-prize winning Midwestern daily, The Blade, the work is not for our print editions, but rather a new digital platform. College degree required. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Interested candidates should include a cover letter, resume and work samples or links to work samples, sent to [email protected].
