Well that was a disappointing next-to-last show. Bill Murray wasn't that funny, and Dylan was impossible to understand. My wife asked if he was singing in French. I didn't know.

To be fair, Bette Midler and Robin Williams set the bar pretty damn high for next to last shows.

I liked Murray's entrance. And that was one of the best-written Top Ten lists in a long, long time.

I kind of think we might. Leno in a cameo or a walk-in could be funny, him as a guest would be way too much.

I don't know what I'm expecting... One of those songs where a new person just walks every 30 seconds or so like they sometimes do on SNL.

I was rewatching some of the recent clips on YouTube. I wish they'd saved John Mayer's "American Pie" performance for the finale. That was probably the best 10 minutes of show this year.

Thought the same thing. Guessing because we're heading into Memorial Day weekend and no one will watch TV on Friday? Maybe Dave wants to get away early for the Indy 500?

As one in TV... Today is the last day of May sweeps.

The May book sets the ad rates through December. That's why.

Half the news anchors in the country will be off tomorrow. Probably 80 percent will be off Friday.

During the May, November and February sweeps periods (28 days each) , it's nearly impossible to get a vaca day granted. July also is ratings but that's not as intense. Most stations throw out July.
