A egomanic with no brain-to-mouth filter replaced with a sexual deviant. Win-win for Current TV.

Straight hetero missionary is 'deviant?' Huh.

Honest question: Hookers aside, you think cheating on a spouse is "deviant"?
Yes. He's a scumbag. Anyone who patronizes hookers in this day and age of numerous SIDs is not right in the head.

The entire membership of CoSIDA says hi.

Kinsey estimated the rate of male adultery in marriage at 50%.

I thinking cheating in a marriage is reprehensible. I also think it's closer to "normative" than "deviant."

www.kinseyinstitute.org/research/ak-data.html#extramaritalcoitus

Males: Kinsey estimated that approximately 50% of all married males had some extramarital experience at some time during their married lives (p. 585, 587, Male).

Females: Among the sample, 26% of females had had extramarital sex by their forties. Between 1 in 6 and 1 in 10 females from age 26 to 50 were engaged in extramarital sex, (p. 416, Female).

Yeah, it's a matter of deviant having picked up a negative definition when it merely means "not what a lot of people do"

Olbermann's run out of people to **** off. He's going to die a very lonely guy.

He's Howard Cosell without Roone Arledge around to coddle him.

My best guess for KO's next landing spot: Sirius/XM. He obviously won't get paid nearly as much as Stern or Dr. Laura, yet satellite radio has enough leeway for him to go full tilt with his style. You could drop him either on the progressive channel or Sirius Stars. Failing that, DirecTV's Audience Channel (which, btw, airs the Dan Patrick Show) would also seem like a reasonable fit.

Indirectly worked with him at Fox Sports during his time, and heard a story about how he went nuclear when his laptop needed repairs. Apparently, he didn't appreciate the fact it would take at least a day or so to get the issue resolved, so he yanked out the "Do You Know Who I Am?" card to no avail. When the kindest phrase you receive is "He's a ****," you're probably not going to win employee of the year honors.

Ever hear of a woman named Lynn Samuels? That's who Keith has become.

He's not on the same planet as Cosell, let alone the same neighborhood.

Well, of course he is. And he worked hard to get there.

Holy ****, that's brutal. I've had Sirius since 2005 and definitely remember Samuels and how she fell from the tree with Sirius. From mid-afternoon drive to (I think) weekends.

Howard Kurtz with a behind-the-scenes look. Some of the stuff on KO's part seems somewhat justified, as it sounds like Current was making the show look amateurish.

And then there's this:

No issue was too small to precipitate a fight. A continuous argument over which car service would ferry Olbermann, who doesn’t drive, was emblematic of the deteriorating situation. Olbermann wound up using eight different car services, finding fault with each one, sometimes objecting when drivers talked to him.

And now dead. But she was another one who wasn't gonna' hear it from management. And yes, they threw her from five days a week to weekends. Why? She was blasting Obama on the pro-Democrat station. Gee, wonder why management wasn't appreciative.

He cannot be mentioned in the same sentence as Cosell. And I rather like KO's bluster.

Lynn Samuels passed away a couple of months ago. I think I started a thread about her passing.

Look three posts up from mine. Saw she died over Christmas. I always fond her amusing to listen to, even if I didn't agree with her a big portion of the time. She never got over Obama overtaking her girl Hillary.
