Olbermann is a talented host/anchor -- and I'm from the Atilla the Hun wing of the political spectrum, so his political stuff makes my skin crawl, but he is very good at what he does. His track record is just such that he can't hold a job or deal with authority, making him damaged goods.

He'd be wise to go to a cable sports gig, but I wouldn't hire someone with a track record of being fired from every TV job he's ever held.

I'll give Olbermann his due for being intelligent.
But he's just as bad as those against whom he rails, if not worse. Rules and standards, especially of the double variety, don't apply to him, not in his mind.
He's someone I don't miss seeing on TV.
