I'm guessing this might be a d_b, but since it didn't show up in any searches for banned or Super Bowl, I'm going to gamble its not. I would've liked to have seen the ad. Borderline NSFW picture on the link.. I'll only quote part of the story..

Cheating Site Denied Ad In Super Bowl Program
Posted By: Darren Rovell

AshleyMadison.com, which matches married people looking to have affairs, got plenty of press last month when they announced that they'd be placing this ad in the Super Bowl program.

Officials for the dating Web site said that they were approached and they signed a six-figure contract for the ad with PSP Sports, which creates and sells ads in many official programs for sporting events.

But we've just learned that, even in this economy, not everything is fair game.

Noel Biderman, CEO of AshleyMadison.com, told CNBC that his ad was eventually rejected and was specifically told that the company wouldn't be allowed to advertise in any NFL game program until the end of time.

I was more interested in the "related" slideshow of the top 20 porn DVD's of all time on that page.

That is quite a racy ad though. Probably not family material. They'd be better off spending millions on Showcase late at night on the weekends.

Intimate discussion of flaccid penises and four-hour boners are fine, though.

In the No. 15 slot, they missed some of the nudity.

"We don't intend to let this pass," Biderman said. "This is our core audience and we will find a way to let them know about the existence of this service."

Looks like they just did. See "Bad publicity, No such thing as." A whole bunch of people who have never heard of ashleymadison.com have now.

I can't believe there is a website for people looking to have affairs.

Perfectly fine, and companies like Viagra have done a good job by making their ads funny instead of overtly sexual to appease the uptight suits at the networks.

But look at the ad for AshleyMadison.com - they're not trying to do anything like that. It's a chick with her tits hanging out and the statement "Who are you doing after the game?"

For sure, somebody got on their moral high horse about infidelity on this as well.

I don't know...I'm bored, and girls get to sign up for free...

(kidding, for the sake of clarification)

However, SportsJournalists.com certainly is not going to censor out the service. It is the banner add I got for this thread.

Really? This is far from the weirdest **** I've ever heard of.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I kind of am. I mean I was raised on infidelity, both my parents were huge practitioners.

Odd. Mine's about ending extreme poverty and hunger. That's not very sexy at all!

Oh come on, the NFL is worried that you guys will find out half the players and a third of the coaches are members.

NFL players have their own ashleymadison.com. Its called the VIP room of the various clubs in their city.
