Pepsi, Coke workers trade punches at Wal-Mart

By Associated Press

Indiana, Pa. — The long-standing rivalry between Coke and Pepsi took a physical turn Friday when a Pepsi deliveryman allegedly punched his Coke counterpart in the face at a western Pennsylvania Wal-Mart, state police said.

The two deliverymen were "apparently bickering back and forth" while unloading their wares at the Indiana County store, police said. When the Coke deliveryman left the store, his counterpart allegedly punched him in the face three times, breaking his nose and giving him a black eye, police said.

No charges have been filed, but police characterized the incident as a misdemeanor simple assault.

I probably drink more Mountain Dew than Coke, but in the battle between Coke and Pepsi I will always choose Coke.

I tell people Pepsi kicks ass, but I never meant it literally.

Royal Crown could kick both their asses. That's why Ryan Sonner drinks Royal Crown.

Pepsi, hands down.

Coke leaves that strange coating on your teeth and kind of tastes like chalk.

I've stopped drinking pop here in Texas because only like one restaurant sells Pepsi in my town.

Aw, you're saying I'm smoking hot? :)

And liable to slip me EU4IA and light my parents garage on fire and steal my Twins jersey.

But the hot part, too. ;)

My dad, who worked for Pepsi for over 30 years and brainwashed all of us into thinking Coke is evil, would have totally had this guy's back.

Having lived it from the inside, most would be amazed how acrimonious the Pepsi-Coke thing really is. To this day, my dad gets very irate if one of his kids orders a Coke at a restaurant.

I actually prefer Dr Pepper, and when we moved around as kids (moving up the ladder in a soda company is not unlike being in the military), it was always huge when Pepsi had the Dr Pepper distributing license. If they did, I could bring it in the house. If they didn't ... fresh out.

God, I would never steal a Twins jersey. Unless it was on Joe Mauer.

Why does one have to hate the other if it likes one?

Coke has a crisper flavor, Pepsi has a sweeter, smoother taste.

I like them both just fine but only drink cola when I'm enjoying a good rum with it. Otherwise, I go caffiene free with Sierra Mist or Sprite or 7-Up.

But then, best of all, there's IBF Root Beer and IBF Black Cherry.

Pour an IBF Root Beer or Black Cherry over crushed ice (and drink it) and you'll wonder why you ever drank Coke or Pepsi.

I completely disagree. Pepsi is fizz and happiness, Coke feels like I'm drinking sheer sugar syrup. Barf.

Coke or Dr Pepper for this kid. That's it. Pepsi is ****.
