Seems to me that Young and Chow's system couldn't mesh. LenDale White and the running game seemed to be going well by the end of the season.

Great, another vague topic title. I thought Norm MacLean was moving to Tuscany.

Impossible. There are no places to rent in Tuscany. Everyone knows that.

I am haunted by 'NO VACANCY' signs.

I dunno. Thought it was a pretty clever play on the guy's name.

Sure, I mean no-one around here's smart enough to come up with it on their own accord.

My friend, the Italian people have standards and Normie doesn't qualify.

Note in LAT today regarding Rick Neuheisel's staff at UCLA:

Neuheisel also expressed interest in Norm Chow, but the former USC offensive coordinator recently received a contract extension from the Tennessee Titans, who pay him well over $1 million annually. UCLA is believed to be able to pay an offensive coordinator between $300,000 and $400,000.

Doesn't Norm seem to be a perfect fit for the Hawaii job?

I think so.

I thought Hawaii was going to hire its defensive coordinator to replace June Jones.

Which might not have been a bad idea until Norm Chow became available.
That's a heck of a good point.

I think Hawaii season ticket holders should organize a boycott if they don't even interview Chow.

Hadn't Chow walked away from a couple of possible offers before getting sacked?
Yeah, he did. Matter of fact, he should have seriously listened to them, other than prance around them, thinking that he'll stay with the Titans.

Intelligent coordinator, but he's a hard person to figure out.
