Hate's too strong a word for me, but the celebs I can definitely do without and would garner not less than a sneer from me if I were to see them on the street:

1. Glibert Gottfried
2. Dr Laura
3. Colin Blowhard

Annoying and pomposity are rather unattractive qualities in my view.

I've come around on Cook. I used to hate him, but self-deprecation has helped him tremendously.

I don't know why, but Russell Brand cracks me up.

I guess he and his PR crew does a pretty good job making him seem like a self-deprecating good guy. I completely believe you, but I am surprised to see him listed.
