Sitting behind an iMac. Why?
Flipping around, I've come across this show on CMT called "Jacked Up." Howell travels the country learning how to drive monster trucks, ride ostriches, noodle (fishing, not dancing), race a barstool and other weird crap.

This might be the oddest hosting duties I've seen an actor ever do.

I dunno about his neck, but ....

Inky watching it already assures this is the most-watched thing he's done in the last 20 years.

Nobody watched the fifth season of 24?

Ehh, he was in like two episodes. He barely registered. He didn't even die, for crying out loud!

Oh, please! Lots of characters haven't died on 24! There's Jack, Chloe, Aaron and ... uh Tony's still not dead ... ah ... Kim and ... uh ... hmmmmm ... oh, yeah — Audrey. (Although she might as well be dead.) And her dad. But he was dead at one point.

There has to be somebody else who's made it most of the way ... just need time to think about it.

Damn, the guy co-starred with Ann Margret and Courtney Thorne Smith. Not too bad.

I will only watch this show if he says the following line in every show ...

"All that hate is going to burn you up, son."
"Keeps me warm."

**** you, RUUSKIIIES!

Yeah, if you ever look around and realize you're in 24, you can pretty much kiss your ass goodbye.

I'm still not over Edgar. :'(

The funny thing about Howell is he was even a joke back when he was a star in the mid 1980s. I think Outsiders was his only hit.

He did have a bit part in "E.T." (as one of the older brother's friends), but in general, you're right.

I wonder who is today's equivalent of C. Thomas Howell?

The guy from Twilight that is on the cover of every magazine? I have no idea if the guy is talented or not because I've never seen anything he's done, so for all I know he could be the next Brando...

I don't know if this qualifies as "today," but any of the four male leads from "American Pie" might be good comps. Who would have thought 10 years later that Sean William Scott (AKA Stiffler) would have had a better career than any of them?
