If The Washington Post offered me a job tomorrow, I'd turn it down.
Not everyone in this business aspires to be the next Michael Wilbon.
I aspire to work and live in Podunk and actually get the occasional weekend off. Perhaps this editor feels the same way and couldn't give two ****s what The Washington Post thinks.

Apparently that's not the case. To me, it seems as if this editor thinks he should've been at the Post. Maybe he wasn't good enough or lucky enough to be there. Either way, his paper getting a Pulitzer is outstanding but he comes off like a kid saying I told you so. He should just STFU.podunk press said:

I can tell you I got to string a couple of Va. state championship events for the Washington Post last June. No matter the assignment, it was still a big thrill to see my byline on a WaPo story. Most rational people who get into this business would look at the Post as a destination job. And if they ask me again this June to cover a state tournament event, I'll say yes again.
