Sunday's show was dry as dust, and the feeds this week (well, I kinda quit watching) have been the same. This season is tanking big-time. I don't know what can save it. Zingbot arrived and will presumably be on Wednesday's show but the zings seemed lame anyway.

Disappointed.

Even if the ratings are as bad as they say, I would imagine CBS would have a hard time finding cheaper programming that would get better ratings unless they showed NCIS and Big Bang Theory repeats every night of the summer.

Yeah it won't go anywhere. They win the time slot when Olympics aren't on and besides that, the show generates revenue off of live feeds, text to vote, and Big Brother After Dark on Showtime (am I missing anything?).

But what a pile of manure right now!

The first couple weeks were awesome with all the craziness Willie was causing. But after he got the boot, the feeds turned into chatter about when/how the coaches would come back into the game. Then they had that sham button thing that assured the coaches' return, and more importantly, the decision to not have an eviction, which screwed up their timeline and screwed Shane out of a brilliant backdooring of Frank. Now we again have the majority of newbies being played by the veterans, and Wil/Ashley/Joe being turned into a latter-day Regulators dead-man-walking alliance. I hope they have fast-forward next week; that's about the only way to get Boogie or Dan out at this point.

I also get a good chuckle when I see people speculating on this show getting cancelled due to falling ratings.

This show is not in any danger of being cancelled by CBS. Nor will it be in any danger in the foreseeable future as long as the CBS CEO's trophy wife wants to continue on as the host of the show.

The only way this show comes even close to being cancelled is if Les Moonves discovers the Chenbot (Moonves' wife) in a lesbian affair with Alison Grodner (Executive Producer of Big Brother) and Les isn't invited to join in to make it a threesome.

What could happen tho is that Congress could revisit the issue of whether Big Brother should be forced to play under game show rules. Then again, with the show escaping that in the wake of Evel **** and Evel **** being invited back as a houseguest, I think the show is pretty much Teflon

Bump because tonight is eviction night. Looks like Wil is going out.
Last night they brought back the Zingbot, and while it did the usual song and dance, it sure got Danielle good:
"I hear Shane's going to give you a special gift after the season - a restraining order."

If you look at the difference in ratings between America's Got Talent and Big Brother, while AGT almost always wins, consider the overhead of Big Brother vs. the overhead of having to pay, I'm assuming at least eight figures for each of the three judges and Big Brother is a bargain.

It's perfect summer TV. I don't think it would do well during the regular TV season, but it's perfect at being exactly what it is... A time filler. Like most reality shows, some seasons are better than others. This season has been an other.

I missed Sunday's show so I watched it online last night before the Wednesday night show.

Had to laugh a couple of times. . . .

When Ashley?? said you had to be smart to be a spray tanner (if you were smart, why would you be a spray tanner?)

And when the guys sat around the table lamenting the loss of the hot chicks. . . truly funny.

That's what you get for kicking out the Playmate early.

Ian made his move. But he needed Frank out of there.

Man, you have to give it to Frank. He is a beast.

Best single episode of BB I can remember. Ian got Boogie out and took his shot at Frank; ended up getting Frank's only remaining ally. It will be interesting to see what Frank does if they let him win HOH. I still think he'll have bigger fish to fry than Ian. Love that kid.

I thought Ian should have put up Joe and Ashley and try to backdoor Frank.
If he does that, he at least gives Frank an idea that he might be on his side.
Ian's biggest mistake was blabbing to Boogie before Boogie walked out the door.
Frank won't put up Ian this week. He'll go after Dan and Shane. If one of them gets vetoed out, Brittney goes up.

If Frank wins, I think he might put up Ian. He was doing a lot of talking when they want back live inside the house. Right after the POV he was yelling at him, "You made the wrong decision!"

Frank has no allies in there and he is going to have a target on his back every week. His best move if he wins HoH would be to put Ian side-by-side with Dan. He knows they are both coming after him anyhow, so it's not like he is making a new enemy. And this way he can get one out. He can then try to work the rest of the house to try to get them to ally with him -- as a strong competitor who will carry them through.

I love how they made the second HoH a memory game. It was as if they WANTED Ian to win. The minute I saw that, I was like, "He is going to turn on the photographic memory now." I love Ian, and I think he has played a good game, but it hasn't been a perfect game. He duped Boogie and Frank by lulling them into a false sense of, "Ian is a harmless kid." But he should have played it all the way through and not said a word to Boogie on his way out the door.

I get the sense the house is going to turn on Ian. Dan kept talking about, "I am taking a lot of heat for this kid. I hope he realizes. ..." It's too bad. I want him to win. Either way, he has to be the odds on favorite for the $25K for America's choice, right?

Yeah, last night was awesome...

Ian's going away note to Boogie was great.

I've been rooting for Ian for quite some time and last night only solidified that. I would like to see Frank hang around for awhile. It would certainly be more interesting with him in there.

I was a little surprised they voted out Ashley over Joe.

I liked Britney's going away. ... ring ring. Oh hi Janelle! That was shades of the Britney from BB12. I remember I hated her at first, especially when she was hanging around with Monet all the time. But as the season went on, she became hysterical in the diary room.

Yeah, Britney is everything they want in a player. Overly emotional, but funny... good-looking and when it comes down to it, a pretty good player...

Seems that Ian did a good job of getting Frank back on his side. Playing the "didn't want to go against the house in an inevitable vote" card.

The wild card for Ian is how much damage Dan decides to do but I feel like Ian has probably laid the groundwork to cover for himself when Dan tries to expose him.

Frank won HOH.

I kind of think he'll target Dan and Danielle. I agree he probably has bigger fish to fry than Ian. Frank really doesn't have any friends left in the house, but he might think Ian is as close as he has left.
