Re: Big Brother 10

I propose a BB-SportsJournalists.com merger. Fourteen houseguests chosen from our confines.

Re: Big Brother 10

Oh, budcrew, I had such high hopes for our friendship.

Every time I use my Verizon phone now, I will die a little inside.

Re: Big Brother 10

Yes, and after Josh's spectacular musings, he isn't even the most vile person to appear on the show.

Re: Big Brother 10

I'd say we put spnited in, too, but I have flashbacks of the SNL Real World skit with Bob Dole. The last scene -- with spnited silhoutted, walking down the street dragging "his chair" behind him.

And, sorry, ladies, but I think the producers would inevitably put Yawn in the house, too.

Worse. JDV.

I can think of one other person worse than him. Let's face it, JDV would be out first eviction.

Re: Big Brother 10

My idea for Big Brother (which CBS would never do):

Bring back an entire cast from MTV's Real World - like Boston or Seattle - and lock them in the house together. I think it would be interesting to see how the casts have changed as people (being 10 years later) and how they react to being locked up together.

Re: Big Brother 10

Every season at least two or three of the female houseguests ae sporting a pair of man-made fun bags.

So. . . if we were going to have a SportsJournalists.com BB season you are going to have to fess up. . . . which ones of you have gotten a little surgical help?

I did. But they're still very real and very spectacular.

Re: Big Brother 10

Uh... Flash. TTIUWOP. :)

Anyway, the reason for the bump: dogdave.com reports houseguests will be revealed on Wednesday. Me? I think there's a little too much Mike Boogie on the commercials to be coincidental.

Re: Big Brother 10

Wednesday? That's two days from now ... dammit!!

That is without a doubt the most horrendous-looking website I have ever seen!

Re: Big Brother 10

Yeah, aesthetics aren't much but between dogdave and hamsterwatch.com, they give great scoop.

Re: Big Brother 10

Hamster Watch is updated ... and far easier to navigate.

Re: Big Brother 10

Well, no cast announcement yet.
However, a little news on dogdave.com, in form of info from the show's producer:
-- Houseguests coming to town soon
-- Houseguests will be going through press interviews soon
-- Cleaning crew in the house right now
-- “Absolutely all strangers” with diverse points of view and backgrounds
-- Wide spread in ages -parents, students, white collar, blue collar
-- Twists and turns down the road
-- Live audiences will involve fans more than audiences in Season 1
-- 13 houseguests with extreme points of view
-- House represents the “places and eras” that the cast comes from
-- The game starts before the houseguests even go in the house on premiere night

The site speculates that the cast may not be revealed now until July 9. Ugh.

Possible cast list, and more info:

Other bit from dogdave: roommates split along generational lines, and it's being set up to be VERY political (which makes sense with the election coming up, but... ugh.)

EDIT: Fixed link.
