Best uniforms ever?

It was more than 25 years ago when Rich Brooks' daughter, a former Oregon cheerleader, took over the squad. It has been tops in the Pac-10/12 since then.

I wish Oregon would do something with their marching band unis. They've been horrible forever. They always seem to look like crossing guards.

Uncle Phil has really made the band look bad in an attempt to slather it in Nike.

Provide some low-key caps if you don't want bucket hats with plumes (especially with sousaphone players and percussionists). Offer some track suits to wear when a traditional uniform is either overkill or the weather is really warm. Come up with something innovative, something that schools - both colleges and high schools when the budget allows - will want to add to their look.

But do better than this. Something with a wool/polyester blend ... all wool gets hot in a hurry and too much polyester makes it feel like we're waiting in line at Studio 54. I don't expect a building on the campus in Beaverton to be named for The Music Man, but Uncle Phil or one of his charges can make the band look better than this.

It’s not brought up often, but the colors and the Tar Heel on the side was a solid touch.

Pro Football: put me down for the powder blue chargers with the white helmets.
NHL: Rangers blue with the name spelled out diagonally.
MLB: tigers home, Yankees away.
College Football: Michigan State. I just like the green with white.
College Basketball: Georgetown. And I hate the team, but the gray uniforms were so cool with Villanova coming in second , but far back.
College Hockey: tie between Michigan and Notre Dame because of the helmets.
NBA: none. They range from wretched to bland in my opinion.

'70s Marquette...untucked jersey with team name below number, and contrasting colors of jersey and shorts. My high school ripped off that look, adding green and gold stripes all the way down the socks.

I liked the Detroit Red Wings uniforms, especially during the 90s and 00s when it seemed like every team had either black, teal, or a shaded version of the uniform. Just a simple red and white.
