She leaves ESPN to go to NBC and eventually become an Access Hollywood host.

Don't feel strongly one way or the other about her, but the Sports by Brooks Tweet got my attention.

This would make him significantly more accurate than ESPN. Say what you will about him - and as someone who wrote for him, I have mixed feelings myself - but it's tough to argue that he doesn't have some very good sources who typically get him some solid information.

The author of the ESPN book says it's done, but for whatever reason no one's publicly confirmed it yet.

Beadle is an excellent talent for what she's asked to do. She's good looking enough to intrigue guys but doesn't come off like an ice queen. That's a valuable skill in TV land.

I'm guessing ESPN wanted to keep her -- and make her put in some hard hours on a variety of platforms, packaging it as "exposure." Translation: Make her the female Scott Van Pelt, who's doing one job too many at ESPN, at least.
