Similar to “Smallville’s” take on the early years of Superman, “The Graysons” will reportedly chronicle the life of a young **** “DJ” Grayson before he suited up to fight crime with the Dark Knight as Robin.

The series will reportedly be set in modern times and revolve around DJ navigating through young love, rivals and family dynamics.

I brought this up on the geek thread as well. It sounds like a terrible idea.

Unless they are going to work it out to flesh out Bruce Wayne's life before he put on the cape and cowl, they should just drop this entire approach and do something else. And I do understand that Batman Begins already covered that territory, which is why I think this should begin and end with Smallville.
