I'm more into the clothes than the accessories. I own less than 20 pairs of shoes, and I think only three of them are nice, dress shoes. I fail at being a woman.

Here's my fav. You can't go wrong with a sexy black pump.

Pointed toes, dammit. None of this open-toed ****.

I think my feet look funny in pointed heels. I have a pair of brown ones similar to this and eh, open-toed is more my speed during the appropriate season.

Those are bloody effin' hot. I have no idea what it is about the pointy-toed ones, just something about the way they make the foot look. And I hate toes, so I don't really want to see them.

I am a big fan of ballet flats. They are comfortable, and I think they look nicer than loafers.

Also, I recently went to a jewelry party where the hostess tried to convince us that you only need jewelry and not clothes. I heartily disagreed.

Sorry.

I'm tall enough I don't need heels, and my trashed foot tells me if I even think of wearing anything remotely resembling high heels it will shoot me dead.

Pretty pumps. Try wearing them to a soccer game in below freezing weather. It ain't happening.

I wore pumps last week for the first time in two years (3.5 inch ones). My feet ached for three days afterward. Ouch.

I went to a conference in Chicago a couple years ago. Our guide told us the place we were walking to for dinner was just a few blocks away. We ended up walking about four-miles round trip, and I was wearing three-inch heels. I could barely put the shoes on the next day.

If you want to make a habit of wearing pointy-toed shoes, make sure they're a size larger than your foot. Either that, or go for the gusto of Blahniks or Jimmy Choos.

For work, I stay away from the pumps. I find a pair of Frye boots to be quite versatile.

However, if I'm in the office for the day I also have a really cute pair of black kitten heels with the pointy toes.

I just saw Inside Man and I guess Jodie Foster was wearing Blahniks. Holy **** those things are amazingly hot. And insanely expensive, I'm sure.

Dammit! I can't access on my BlackBerry. Damn fried laptop screen anyway! Screw it.
