The Sports Illustrated Group is seeking an Associate Director of Communications. A minimum of six years experience in communications preferably in the sports industry and/or media industry is required. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Communications and joins the communications team responsible for promoting Sports Illustrated, SIKids, Golf Magazine and their respective digital businesses. The successful candidate will have experience generating impactful media placements and posses a strong range of media contacts across multiple disciplines (b2b, digital, sports, news, events). Experience in the area of social media is also a major plus. The job will include responsibilities promoting SI content to sports fans and promoting the business of The Sports Illustrated Group as well as special events. Strong writing skills preferred.
