****ing Jake Arrieta. Cost me a potential fantasy baseball championship. Asshole. First time I ever rooted against a no-hitter by anyone who doesn't play for Boston.

Saw an interesting stat: Chase Utley has been a part of 5 no-hitters since May 25, 2014, including 3 since July 25 of this year.

But yeah, these things are so common anymore that it doesn't really warrant its own thread.

Stats on steroids:

ESPN graphic says this is the first no-hitter on August 30 since 1941.

Seriously?

Fanboi alert.

I watched it at the casino bar. ****ing awesome. I was so loud in the eighth and ninth, the bartender said you'd think I was throwing the no hitter.

My favorite was like a week ago (numbers probably not correct):

"Record when Team X scores 3+ runs: 45-20
Record when Team X scores 2 runs or fewer: 12-56"

So you're telling me more runs are better?!?!? What a revolutionary idea!

Have teams who've been n0-hit twice in a season won divisions/pennants in the past? It would seem like an indicator of a big problem.
