For Katie Holmes' wedding to Mr. Weird Scientology Guy...

1. The Italian authorities stopped traffic for miles around.
2. They posted snipers on rooftops.

I'm sort of pissed if they shut down my town for a wedding of a has-been actor to a B-lister.

Kumar: How were Katie Holmes' tits?
Goldstein: You know the Holocaust?
Kumar: Yeah?
Goldstein: Picture the opposite of that!
Kumar: Nice!

C'mon, Columbo -- Katie Holmes is a nice, wholesome girl.

And I'm gonna see her boobs.

C'mon, they did refuse a request to restrict the air space around the castle, thus allowing the helicopters to get those great "O.J. Freeway" shots.

Money, contrary to public opinion, cannot buy EVERYTHING. :)

Is it just me, or has Cruise been seriously putting on the feed bag these days? After all those "sources" talking about how he was monitoring his new wife's post-baby weight-loss efforts, seems to be he was barking up the wrong tree. Meeeeeeee-ow.

Guys that short can't afford the "freshman 15".

This thread is useless without wedding pictures.

Killick, you need to post more often, if only so we can see more of that sidesaddle of yours.

I think he's changing the channel with the remote.

For clarity's sake, War of the Worlds grossed $234 million domestically, just at the box office. That puts it in the top 50 all time, it was the fourth highest grossing film of 2005 in the U.S., and that's to say nothing of foreign box office receipts or DVD sales.

Mission Impossible III grossed $133 million domestically and almost $400 million worldwide.

Those aren't exactly the numbers of a has-been.

*Disclaimer: Obviously, he's insane, she's a terrible actress and the whole shenanigan is annoying.

that's what irks me. he's so ****ing nuts and yet people still give him money. i only watched war of the worlds because it was on hbo one night. i will never pay to see him in the theater again because that would violate my policy against giving money to crazy people.

That's almost all of Holywood. Ninety percent of Hollywood's actors and actress (and probably 70 percent of the musicians) are nucking futs!
Anne Hecht, Mel Gibson, Andy ****, Joe Pesci, Liz Taylor, Marlon Brando, George C. Scott, Michael Richards ... the list could go on forever.
They are all the mental equivalent of scrambled eggs.

Other paw. I think he's a bad influence on the Codas.
Never noticed that. I'm going to chalk it up to scratching. Yeah, scratching.

Personally, it doesn't matter two ****s to me if he's crazier than a resident at the local asylum (or any other actor, for that matter). As long he delivers more movies like "The Last Samurai" or "Top Gun" and fewer suckfests like "War of the Worlds," I'll go to the theater.

What he's like in real life doesn't amount to **** to me, because I'll never meet him.

bp, yeah i know what you're saying. but it gets me because unless the movie is unbelievable - and i can count on one hand the number of movies i think were that good - then i'll look at him and think of the nut job, not the role he's playing.

I don't suppose the snipers had orders to shoot Mr. Cruise or Ms. Holmes?

Consider it ordered.
Hold it. We have other priorities....

Did we not decide that we needed to handle Boomer's ***** slap first?
