All-purpose college bowls betting thread

Post your hunches, your sure things and your best bets. Bowl season begins tonight with Navy vs. Utah.

I'll take Utah (-8), but only because Navy's coach bolted for GT and I don't think it will be adequately prepared. Also, Utah has fared well in its bowls over the last several years, winning 5 of 6.

Thoughts?

I's take South Florida (-7) beating Oregon. The Ducks went downhill fast when Dixon went down, and the Bulls run defense should be good enough to limit Jonathan Stewart in the running game.

They're my big confidence points team in the Bowl pool, so we'll see.

I'd take Kentucky over Florida State, but it's still off the board.

I think an easy bet would be Virginia Tech (-3 1/2) over Kansas.
