I would of been happy with either Hamilton or Cabrera.

I'm sure Hamilton is extremely happy with this award, he had to battle through a lot to even start playing in the Majors again.

Well considering the best America has done in the World Baseball Classic is fourth, but after looking at it, America still does well with the top player awards.

Glad I'm not in work today, so I don't have to listen to the Yankee fanboys complain about how Cano was gypped. I got enough of that last week when Hernandez (rightfully) won the Cy Young.
Disclaimer: I like the Yankees, and I root for them, but their players didn't deserve any of the major awards this year.

I love watching the various styles of play of teams in the WBC. Just like World Cup and Olympic basketball.
