I have never seen McAfee's show, but you can't escape it if you peruse the sports interwebs.
And every single time, I see that dummy's dumb face staring back. It gives me nightmares.

Without McAfee, Screaming A, Skip Bayless and the Mers broadcast team, Awful Announcing might cease to exist.

Hell, the first task of anyone who lands a sports yakfest gig is to find dumber people to "spar" with you and make you look smart. And tee up questions like you are a magic eight ball.

1. I would like to be slapped if I ever watch one minute of this jack-off's work.

1a. It would be great if McAfee's popularity took a nosedive after he called out Norby Williamson.

1b. I know it won't. Too damn many rednecks for that to happen, the ones who would like to thumb their nose at authority in their own lives.

Olbermann said Williamson's never lost a fight, and at ESPN (and certainly other places I've worked) the management sides with management, not with the knucklehead in a cutoff shirt.

McAfee and his fans might think otherwise but ESPN sees him as just another talking head, and ultimately expendable.

Yeah, I watched a JJ Watt guest spot last week and they had these guys in a tri-panel with Hawk on the right and during the segment, which covered Daire Alexander and must have been close to 20 minutes, Hawk just sat there and said nothing. Not. A. Single.Word.

Joe Buck filled in on the Marchand and Ourand podcast this week and told the (very sad) story of his dad getting fired from CBS Radio in the mid-1990s. Just brutal. And also told the story of, basically, TV executives aren't your friends, no matter what they say and do. In essence, they are all assf***s. And having worked at a TV station (though not at that level), it's so damn true Also see the crossthread with @exmediahack and the bull**** he has endured. The many stories of Norby Williamson over the decades are most likely (OK, they are) true. He doesn't give one f*** for anyone other than Norby Williamson.
