I have yet to see this topic on the board (if it is point me to it) so I will add it. Do you feel that the picture of A-Rod on the cover of the NY Post was justified? Do athletes deserve to be afforded privacy off the field? Would your paper or website have run the photo and reported the story?
 
No one can expect privacy when they are not in private.

I think the NY Post was justified. That said, we wouldn't and haven't run it.
 
The NYP's concept of "fair" game is not like that of the rest of us, I'm thinking.
 
The Post was within its rights to take the picture, but that doesn't mean they're not a pathetic scandal sheet for running it.
