Even hobbled by injuries most of the final month of the season, Cabrera was the far superior hitter again and he did it on a playoff team. Cabrera should win it again.

If you accept the premise that his defense makes up for being an inferior hitter on a non-playoff team, which I don't. Neither did the voters last year and I'm guessing they won't agree with you this time, either.
