Anyway, that is both a sickening and sad story if I ever read one. Hell, it's my personal belief that you shouldn't get married until you're 22 b/c you're still learning how the hell to figure out this world. "School officials can't be responsible for what happens the other hours of the day, and I would think the relationship developed much more outside of school," said Brian Shaw, an attorney for the school district.

Nice to see the school district take some responsibility for a coach on their payroll who digs 14 year olds. I wonder what the attorney said when it's pointed out that this "marriage" never would have happened without the coach driving the student home from after-school practices.

And those parents never should have signed the consent until she was at least 18.
