I was laughing at the way the players came through the dignitary handshake line while getting their medals. They barely acknowledged Trump — but not in a disrespectful way, almost in a they had no clue who he is way. They pretty much did the same with Claudia Sheinbaum. I'd counter with the other team played 105 minutes before it could score because the opposing keeper was outstanding, and even at the very end the team that couldn't score and was a man down had several chances to tie it in the final few minutes.
There were soccer purists complaining that yesterday's 6-4 game was boring because there was no defense. Now people are complaining that a 1-0 game with plenty of great defense was boring. People need to pick a lane. It's about energy, not the score, and this game had plenty of energy.

Third-place game didn't have much defense, yes. Boring? No way in hell. That second half was edge-of-your-seat exciting the whole 50+ minutes, so many great plays.
