For want of next season's soccer thread, I post this here. Liga MX is ending pro/rel next season despite a Court of Arbitration for Sport ruling telling them not to do so. Evidently new American owners of Mexican clubs had a hand in making this happen.

Because I was home on a rainy Saturday, yes. It had all of the stakes of the NBA All Star game but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t fun.

I will guaran-damn-tee you, no player or coach in the history of the NBA All-Star Game was clinching their butt harder than England was, or was playing harder than France did, in the final 15-20 minutes of that supposedly meaningless game.
