Yes the field is diluted and yes making it out of the group is no cause for celebration. But man, this has been so much fun. Do the Scots make it in a condensed field? Congo and their beautiful baby blue unis? Cape Verde and its great draw with Spain?

So far it’s been a lot of fun.
 
I think it is OK to think people will assume “World Cup” means the event on screen at that very moment. Next year when they are discussing some record Marta or Megan Rapinoe has, it will be OK to just say “World Cup” then too.
 
I was yesterday minus a few days old when I learned haggis was banned in the U.S. in 1971. However, the state of Massachusetts has temporarily “legalized“ haggis.
I had it twice on my honeymoon in Scotland last summer. Much better than I thought it would be, but it was also battered and fried. We also haven't sought it out since we returned home

Ella Langley is now a World Cup hero. And I think her German sales are about to go through the roof.





Also, their flight was canceled and they were gonna miss the German game, but I think somebody in private air came through with a plane for them.
