Interesting question. In general, Dodger Stadium had a higher HR rate from 1960-73, the span of time in which Mays played in the two parks (3.57% to 2.69%.)
Mays specifically had different results. Alert: Small Sample Size Factor upcoming. Mays hit 11 HR in 311 AB in Dodger Stadium, a 3.33% rate. At Candlestick, he hit 203 dingers in 3,524 AB. That's a 5.76% figure.

Stoneham was looking at moving the Giants to Minnesota, where they already owned the Triple-A team there. O’Malley decided on LA, and convinced Stoneham to move further west as well, both to make it more palatable travel-wise for the other teams, and to keep the rivalry going.
