Yeah, hard to knock the Peacock when it's getting shots that aren't their people. Much like when ESPN/ABC had the rights. It's a good story, but there was definitely a lack of drama throughout the coverage.
Who's fault is that? Should Lowery have made a few bogeys to make it interesting?

Oh, I'm not knocking it. It is what it is. We get lots of blowouts in sports. Including this. And Lowry made lots of bogeys today. So did everyone else.

I just knew someone at or near the top was going to blow up yesterday.
Should have known it would be JB when the wind was going to be up.
Anything more than 10-15 mph, and his ball gets sideways in a hurry.

It may be harder on those types of courses, but it seemed to me that they lost a lot of shots, especially coming into the green.

The inconsistency of they shot tracker I can live with ...
Maybe I missed it, but they didn't show Fleetwood's opening drive. They moved over to cover chronic Sunday choker Rickie Fowler or Spieth's shot.
Also, I had to work Saturday, as well as Thursday and Friday, so come Sunday morning, I had almost zero knowledge of the the course. Did NBC show each hole, how it was laid out or the green? Nope. They were wildly inconsistent with this. To me, that's golf coverage 101.
The dumb graphic noting there have been fewer America winners of the British Open than any other major since WWII, which they then spent a few minutes discussing. NO ****?!??! It's really not hard to explain or understand.
