Respectively disagree. The lingering smell that acts like a lion waiting to pounce on the poor sap who wonders in is one of those special joys.

As a teenager, like clockwork I had to unload right before I got into bed. Brush my teeth, take a dump, get in bed. The best part was the fact my stepbrother always would wait as long as possible before brushing his teeth so he had to walk into the death trap that was the bathroom after I used it. The bathroom was right next to my room so I would lie in bed waiting for the the audible groan. It took him a long time before he finally adjusted his schedule. To this day, as bad as I feel for my wife, I still snicker if she or anyone walks in after I'm done.

I once annihilated a one-person bathroom at a Jack in the Box in Rancho Cucamonga, to the point where the manager yelled at me as I was leaving. I did not turn around and go back through the drive through.

The more I think about this, the funnier it becomes. So many questions. Why would he yell at you? Did you make the whole place uninhabitable? Was there spillage?

Seems on topic given the thread jack - I'm surprised about Arby's buying Buffalo WildWings. Surprised Arby's is doing that well and BWs is struggling. Though I always leave BWs surprised how much I spent for what I got. Ten wings, a beer and a diet Coke shouldn't cost $20.

Especially when you consider the "wings" are actually cut up chicken breasts or other other boneless parts of the chicken.
I have 3 teenage and pre-teenage sons who all LOVE B-Dubs.

Had been cooped up in a vehicle from about Needles to Rancho. Can't remember what I ate the night before, but it came back with a glorious vengeance. The smell was ... unpleasant and seemed to drift toward the food line upon opening the door. Poor design on Jack in the Box's part.

I never had children but 5 days ago I became Oma (grandmother). JR is proud as a peacock, it goes without saying.

We've been asked not to share photos online but after our first FaceTime with baby Faye today I can attest that she is the most beautiful baby in the world. You can take my word for it. :)

I walk on the weekend with a friend, through Microville on and near the Microville Tech campus. For months we would walk by cans and bottles and just say, "Wow, there's 50 cents," but just walk on by.

Earlier this year Oregon doubled the bottle deposit to 10 cents. About three weeks ago we just started carrying plastic bags, and picking up the low-lying fruit (no dumpster diving or anything like that). We now have $17 in a kitty, when it hits $25 we'll go out for breakfast.

Easy money, and it's become fun to see who can pick out a PBR, Rolling Rock or Bud Lite can from 50 feet. Restored my faith in college kids drinking cheap beer, too.

Updating: We are now over $150, and our unofficial three-man canning crew each just received a $21 dividend from about three weeks of collecting. Sunny weather and college kids = lots of beer cans/bottles, and easy money.

We don't work that hard. Other than reaching down to pick up a can/bottle, slightly adjusting our route to incorporate fraternity row, and spending 15 minutes at the grocery store redemption center once a week, it's all been very low-hanging fruit.

Pretty much all Rolling Rock, Keystone, Natty Lite, Coors Lite, Bud Lite, Coors. A sprinkling of PBRs, bottles of Corona. Hardly ever see a Miller Lite or Budweiser, or craft beers, which are in abundance here but too expensive for most college kids' taste. PBR used to be the cheap beer of choice in town but Rolling Rock has really taken off.

We like RR because the bright green cans are easy to spot.

For those following, JR had a triple bypass this morning. Surgeon is pleased and it all went well. He'll be in Cardiovascular ICU for 24 hours or so, so they sent me home to sleep. :)
