My question is WTF is wrong with you for even stopping on VH1?
Nothing that network does is worth damn and I've added it to my list of cable channels I no longer watch.
Yep ESPN, you got some company, along with the Christian channels, the shopping channels and, well, actually most of the channels.
I find just about all TV to be very full of FAIL right now.

This is why I find myself watching Disney Channel at 3 a.m.

It's the same idea as their I love the 70s, 80s and 90s programs. There's one big problem, though, the decade isn't even ****ing over yet. This is just absolutely pathetic.

I will say this much in VH1's defense: People will watch those shows, and there's only the 2008 and 2009 shows to produce. So they're releasing a product that's 80 percent complete ... I don't think that's so bad.

2. This same network was doing a weekly series that was a clip-show retrospective of the previous week.

VH1 flamed out with "The Best Day Ever", a 15-minute recap of the day in celeb news and pop culture.
There is a quote somewhere that said: Comedy equals tragedy plus time. It's fun to look back on OP shorts and Evel Kneivel stunt bikes, not so much about American Idol becoming a hit, Ugg boots or Blue Tooths.

You have to wonder if eventually, these "nostalgia" shows will catch up to themselves and they'll wax poetic about something that happened an hour before the taping. Will they predict the 10s next? I'd rather see that.

VH-1 used to air a Legends special on Keith Moon that was an absolute riot. I haven't seen it in years. They used to run that and the Stevie Ray Vaughan Legends episode constantly, but I haven't seen them in years.

I went on this rant tonight while watching "The Wedding Singer." Mostly because of the ridiculous, annoying pop-up ad they had during the show to promote it, but really - we've still got two damn years left.

Next thing we know, it's going to be "I Love The Third Week Of June 2008"

It was a hell of a week for me.
