Again, he wasn't fired. He hasn't been blacklisted by anyone except the Poynter Institute. And he hasn't worked for a newspaper since 1999, according to his biography, and I highly doubt he's looking to get back into newspapers since he's made a living in bloggery for the past 12 years or so.
