OK, there is no way that Michigan is not in the bottom 10 either. Not only do they not know any of the rules of driving, they absolutely refuse to practice them and come up with their own creative ones: like turning right from the left turn lane three lanes over. And honestly, you can never go fast enough for these people. You can be in the middle lane of a six-lane expressway going 80 and someone is coming around you (always on the right, of course) going like 100.

Doesn't really matter where you are, really. I think probably 10-15 percent of those who have licenses can actually drive worth a **** in any given state. It's a shame when you have to assume everyone next to you on the road can't drive well and doesn't understand basic things like get out of the left lane unless you're passing someone.

Dead on about New York (especially the city). Of course, lanes about as narrow as Sean Hannity's mind and merging lanes shorter than Danny DeVito don't help, but driving in NYC is a martial art.

And I echo the sentiments about Georgia in general and I-285 in particular.
