Got your back, coach Tom!

Izzo has long been on a one-man crusade against social media, unfair media and the effects of an increasingly impatient and venomous culture. That world has, for the first time, turned on him. I’m sure he’d love to defeat it.

“I’m going to do what I think is right,” Izzo said later Wednesday, making it clear that he is no lawyer’s puppet.

That's an odd pseudonym for Magary to write under.

"Unfortunately, the LSJ also features columnist Graham Couch, who spends a lot of his days getting ratioed for poor or useless analysis but occasionally finds time to cover MSU athletics with all the toughness of the school’s own PR department." Ouch.

When did "getting ratioed" become a thing? I've seen it a couple of times this week, never previously.

This, written by the poster who’ll spend page after page arguing about whether women really “let” Donald Trump grab their privates.

What conceivable advantage does the columnist gain with Izzo by writing this? It makes makes him a pariah among his many colleagues, such as absolutely-not-misogynist folks at Deadspin, who enjoy perfectly-developed moral compasses.

Isn’t this you playing oop by saying “well, he can’t possibly be sincere in his stance, so he must be a toady?”
