Does anyone know the NLCS schedule ? I have been unable to find anything in NY papers. They play the Cardinals -- right?

There is but one thing to remember Boom:

The Mets are still playing, the Yankees are not.

You and I both know that but it seems like the NY papers don't .

as is well covered (at least by those of us who understand) on the various Torre/NYDN threads.

As of tonight, all Mets all the time!!!

for a week or so anyway

Mets-Cardinals, 8:19 tonight on Fox/Fx depending on where you live..

The Mets play whenever the commissioner's office and/or FOX tells them to play. :)

I feel for all of y'all who only have one TV in the newsroom, and have to choose between games, or flip back and forth.

What a travesty that Fox dictates that both games start at the same time, instead of having one mid-afternoon and one in prime time.

Bud should grow a pair, and at least change THAT policy.

Or do what hockey does with their conference finals. Alternate days between the two series, one game per day. Although that may not work, since it could push the Series into November.

Deeper into November... (depending on seven gameseries)... but you also wouldnt want to do that because it screws with the rhythm of the pitching staff among other things...
Nope, Bud needs to grow a sack and say no more. But since TV dictates all, it aint happenin

Somebody help Boom out. This series is probably the last chance to catch the Mets in 06

Will there be a game now, given the advanced state of panic NYC is in?

Legitimate question. if that makes me a jackass, heeeeeee-haw!

There is no panic in NYC. There was an accident in which a small, single-engine plane hit an apartment building.
NYFD described it as "a routine accident and fire". It is now extinguished.
So that does make you a jackass.

Spirited, here's a bottle of Duralube. Continue the threadjacking on your own.

Should be fixed next year since Fox will only have one of the series... Of course, they don't seem to have sold the other series to anyone yet, so people will have to go back to their evening papers to find out the results.

Hopefully Fox has sent some of their Hi Def camera's to game

God forbid viewers of Fox affiliates be denied their 279th viewing of "Monorail Fever."
