Did the Kobe/MJ thread get deleted?

serious question, sorry if I missed something. Been gone a couple of days.

It was locked when I woke up this morning, so I nuked it. It had more than run its course.

around here, boom happens.

Speaking of Boom, what happened to the "WARNING" thread over in Anything Goes he started. I was reading it about an hour ago, I come back, and it's nowhere to be found. I generally get a kick out of his nonsensical rantings.

Why would you nuke the Kobe/MJ thread? You started it for the sole purpose of creating discussion about the column, and that's what you got. Lame.

Agree - besides being a solid and engaging basketball discussion there was a lot of good advise from very talented writers. Losing the Bubbler doctrine alone is a shame.

I'm guessing here, but since it got locked, someone felt the discussion had run its course.

Then again, why do people do anything? Why do they post PM's, for example.

Lame **** abounds.

So let it be locked. If a moderator wanted it deleted, they could have done so. There were some tremendous posts on that thread....how special that the originator decided for everyone else what was worthy of the board. Maybe he should stick to Random Thoughts.

So sorry I've offended you. Feel free to start a new one.

It's his thread. He can delete it if he wants.

A privilege I've never seen you harp on anyone else for, especially not your cyber-boyfriend.

Does your hypocrisy know no bounds?

It's his thread? You mean he owns it? All those posts, they belong to him? Wow. He should charge rent or something. I hope everyone got permission to post there.

Tell you what.

Show me where you've blasted Boom for doing the same thing -- which he has, multiple times -- and you'll have a leg to stand on.

Otherwise, you're a whining hypocrite. Maybe you should stick to the NIAFL thread.

That's the best you can do? The NIAFL thread?

Have a nice day, Zeke. You got a beef with Boom, take it up with him. Good luck.

I think his beef with you and your objections to Ellis' deletion is pretty rock-solid, actually.

But hey, who am I?

Call it an homage.

Bubbler deleted his 40-some page "lies" thread a month or two, I'm not sure he got that lecture from anyone here.

I didn't even remember who started that thread, but I guess from what I'm reading it was Ellis. I know you have that option at your discretion, but I have to say I disagree with your choice to nuke it. Most of that thread was a worthwhile conversation. It deserved to be locked at the end, but I didn't think deleting it altogether was warranted.

Then again, I'm not a fan of nuking threads at all. Lock 'em up and let 'em sink.
