Speaking of fantasy advice!!

I see no one has complimented me on making the playoffs after I didn't touch my roster since draft day. :D

Ha! I'm in the semifinals after not doing the same. AND I drafted Brett Favre as my No. 1 pick. :P

I'm in the playoff semifinals in my league and need to decide between Favre and Romo for my starting QB this week and am leaning toward Favre.

A couple I work with went on their honeymoon to Cooperstown.
Turns out while they were there they ran into someone else from the office who snuck up behind them and said "Hi kids" (keep in mind that the person who made the 'hi kids' comment is 10-15 years younger than this couple was)

That's buckdub for us since he'd be there at the same time. We don't work together, but hell... he wants Doc as a wingman. Doesn't that say enough? :D

Honestly, we'll only spend a day or two in NYC. Cooperstown is definitely the highlight of the trip-to-be. Also, Niagara Falls.

If you've only been to the Hall of Fame, it kind of escapes you that Cooperstown (and that area) is kind of a nice, tranquil area. I've always thought that honeymoons work better in less frenetic circumstances--the wedding is stressful enough. There are lots of bed-and-breakfasts in Cooperstown. Or, if you can swing it, stay in the Otesaga, which is one of the last of the big upstate NY resort hotels. I've never stayed there, but the brunch is awesome.

don't know if anyone has mentioned this already because i didn't wade through all five pages but be discerning when you register for small kitchen appliances.

for example, we use our panini maker all the time. that was surprising because who would've expected that? but it takes minimal effort to use and makes a boring old sandwich a lot better. the fondue pot, otoh, has never been used more than two years after the wedding. i guess the fondue pot technically isn't an appliance but it's in the same category. we both also wished we'd registered for the ice cream maker because you can find all sorts of recipes for good ice cream (or frozen yogurt and even gelato) that are so much better than most store bought stuff.

Wow, BigDog must have gone without ***** for a really long time to post something that hateful.

Keep crunching those fantasy numbers, though. I'm sure you'll dupe some lucky tranny girl into ****ing you eventually.

If you're going to Cooperstown, bring a ball and a couple gloves so you can play catch on Doubleday Field. It's the field adjacent to the Hall of Fame (and where they play the Hall of Fame Game every year).

As long as you're in the area, the Ithaca-Finger Lakes area is beautiful.

Thanks for the idea screwball. We're looking at a few options while we're there, but those will definitely be on the list.

Howe Caverns is also a nice way to spend part of/most of a day.

Cut him a break. His mom has been out of town all week, so he didn't get his weekly handjob. Lay off the dude.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Too many assholes have rendered these threads closed. Everyone have a great day.
