I was down at Citizens for World Series- nice place but many of the fans leave a lot to be desired. Many seemed over-served on Cheese Steaks and Taylor Pork rolls.

I can see this thread veering towards the worst behaviour you have seen at a baseball or football game. Could be highly entertaining.

Saw a fan riot at a Detroit Drive game fueled by a drunk guy who tripped down the stairs and spilled his tray of draft beer on a group of drunk guys. The riot ended when original drunk guy was rolling back down the stairs bloodied and covered in beer.

I blame soccer.

For becoming a more viable and fan friendly option!

;D

If the guy becomes a soccer fan he can learn how to hurl bags of urine and blood at people and complete the assault with bodily fluids triple crown.

Now that alone would be worth the price of admission

Good point. Soccer fans are the best behaved fans in any sport...

Does Duke have a soccer team? If so, then by definition they are the best and smartest soccer fans

I've seen that trick. Not very pretty.
I remember once covering a toughman competition at the Omni in Atlanta. Saw a guy do a flying drop kick on a guy y in the balcony. The guy he hit, almost flipped over the rail.
I actually became a casualty of the mahem, getting hit in the eye with a freaking penny.

Thread should be changed. Watching the Nationals play in Philly causes fan to vomit on 11 year-old or something like that.

Gotta be great fans in Philly, to get that excited over a game vs. the Nationals.

Normally I am against the death penalty but I am willing to make an exception for uber-asshole baseball fans.

With plenty of empty stadiums and cheap tickets to go around the asshole fan factor is going to be off the charts this season. Can't wait to see what those midweek Royals-Indians games produce.

I really don't know where to begin other than to say I wonder if David knew the story behind some of the stuff he was regurgitating? I tend to think all he did was look up clippings and jotted the information down.
Pukeman deserved the beatdown he got and more, no question, but Phillies fans aren't any worse than Yankees fans. A good beatdown in the Bronx is just as good as good beatdown in South Philly.

Broad Street is the best place to get your ass kicked, though.

Philly fans are overall pretty good, but the most extreme of the drunk louts are pretty bad. You could make the same case for the Boston and New York fringe.

Anyone else take issue with this punk's uncle whining, "ees jussa KID!!!!!" **** you. **** you in the ass with a rusted, jagged water main. He's 21. He's old enough to drink, drive, buy pron, smoke, vote nd die for his country. He should know better.

Especially if you're dumb enough to provoke Tie Domi while he's sitting in the penalty box.

You can make the same case for any sports fans in the Northeast.

You can make the same case for any sports fan in the Southwest too.
