My dad still does this. He's 82. I'll go to the mailbox and there'll be an envelope with him containing clippings from the WSJ or Barron's. Don't know why he can't send the ****ing links, considering he's pretty tech savvy.

HA! My Dad does the same thing, though he's a mere 75. And he often tries sending me WSJ or Barrons links, but I usually can't access them, thus, the mailings.

Raises hand. I get an envelope full of stuff just about every month from the father of a co-worker when I was still in Bay Area radio. Usually it's clippings of someone in the business who died, got fired or just random stuff about Bay Area sports, plus comic strips. If it keeps him happy, fine. But it's just scrap paper to me.
