The latest crazed soccer parent? Ex-Mississippi congressman Chip Pickering. He got into a wrestling match with a soccer coach who yelled at his kid during a game. Not helping Pickering's cause is that the coach was wearing a neck brace from surgery a few weeks ago.
A combination of soccer parent and politician has got to be like the purebred spawn of Satan, right?

That both a) Hester is a dude who's a nurse, and b) Pickering has the same letter after his name that Astro precedes every word he barks with, may cost the official points in Mississippi. Just saying.

Pickering was already discredited in Mississippi after his wife sued him for divorce earlier this year. Seems the family-values Republican was shacking up with a mistress in DC while the wife and kids were holding down the fort back home. Big reason why he chose not to run for re-election last year.
