Stemming off some recent threads, create your ultimate band, but everyone has to have passed on. It's can't completely be a packed house with 10 people or whatever. Your group should be the basic setup of whatever genre you prefer.

Here is mine:

Ronnie Van Zant - lead vocals
Duane Allman - lead guitar
Hughie Thomasson - guitar/vocals
Allen Collins - guitar
Leon Wilkeson - bass
Jackson Spires - drums
Danny Joe Brown - tambourine/vocals
Billy Powell - piano

Obviously, this would be a kick ass Southern Rock lineup. For those of you no in the know, I have in my lineup 4 from Skynyrd and 1 each from the Allman Bros, Outlaws, Blackfoot, and Molly Hatchet.

You left out Karen Carpenter and Maurice Gibb.

I'd have some similar choices.

Would without a doubt go with the Who's Moon and Entwistle. On drums and bass, there's no one better, or even close, in my view.

Guitar--definitely had Allman on the list, would throw in George Harrison as well.

On voice, I'd go with Karen Carpenter (seriously, that voice was pure silk) and perhaps Michael Hutchence.

Lead vocal: Michael Jackson
Guitarist: Angus Young
Bass: George Harrison
Drummer: Phil Collins

Let's do something dark.

Singer: Ian Curtis
Guitarist: Eddie Hazel
Bassist: Cliff Burton
Drummer: John Bonham

Phil Collins is dead?

Oh, was a bit drunk when I replied and missed the part where they needed to be dead. I'll replace Collins with Moon.

Angus Young and John Paul Jones also find their appearance on these lists interesting.

I can understand how someone might think JPJ is dead, but Angus? C'mon!!!

Like I stated, I was bit intoxicated and didn't realize they needed to be dead.

My bad. Obviously, I know Young is still alive.

These guys are still alive.
Then cross them off the list.

Obviously, that was not obvious. Isn't that obvious?
