Times are tough: What's the best cheapest beer?

If you're in the Northeast, aything from Saranac is great and only slightly higher than Bud. The Adirondack Lager is particularly good, as is the Black Forest.

2. Miller High Life. In 40s.

3. Steel Reserve. Only if I'm in a special sort of mood.

But I'll also throw in a vote for Natty Lite, which is not as bad as people think.

I have to say, I really like National Bohemian. But it's hard to get West of, say, Frederick, MD. Which sucks.

I found Mickeys has done the trick for me. A six-pack cost me $4.75 and six of those bad boys put me down for the count. Taste like hell, but get the job done.

All jokes aside, Miller Lite is actually a decent beer if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
