ANSWER: Chuck Long and Brad Banks are correct. Some guy named Scott Duncan was second in 1958, but that will be 51 Heismans ago this year.

3. Who is the all-time leading scorer in North Carolina State men's basketball history (most points)?
ANSWER: Rodney Monroe is correct, 2551 career points. David Thompson has the highest average.

4. What major college sports award is named in honor of a test pilot who died in a plane crash?
ANSWER: Hobey Baker Award is correct.

5. Which Division I college football team won the most games from 1980-89?
ANSWER: Nebraska is correct, 103-20-0.

That would have been the '73 Mets (82-79), had they won Game Six or Seven in Oakland.

I'm going to guess the '69 Mets were the only team to win the World Series after never before finishing .500.

I was born in 69. My memory is a little foggy.

I've disqualified myself.

The 1969 Mets were the first team to win a World Series without turning a double play. I thought they were the only team. But further research indicated the White Sox did not turn a DP in 2005. In fact, neither Houston nor the ChiSox had a DP, at least according to box scores I've reviewed.
