It is funny but I'm not sure she'd have a sense of humor about it.
She's now married to Michael Knight (another actor) and gets lots of grief about that.

Um, Michael Knight was the name of Hasselhoff's character on Knight Rider. I'm worried about your friend. Very worried.

Isn't that why she ended the post with '...and gets a lot of grief about that'?

Michael Knight is also an actor on a soap opera -- don't ask me which one though. I guess she wanted to keep life simple?

Hoff's spectacular new video "Jump In My Car" (featuring a KITT clone) was released last week....

That's right, it's Hofficial... your favourite cult icon wants to take you home! The one and only David Hasselhoff of "Bay Watch" and ... all » "Knight Rider" fame returns with a cover of the 1975 classic 'Jump In My Car' and its a doozy. Recorded in Sydney last year with the legendary Harry Vanda (AC/DC, The Angels), the Ted Mulry Gang tune has been re-vamped with full Hoff gusto and this music video promises to rock the socks off all his Hofficial fans. Watch it, enjoy it, share it on Google Video, courtesy of Sony BMG Australia.

I wish I had written that.
That's gold.

Now I really want a "Don't Hassel the Hoff" shirt

So what happened to the Hoff at the hotel that injured his tendon?
Was the Hoff jumping through plate glass windows?
Was it like that scene from 'Sharky's Machine'?

An equally entertaining answer:

LONDON, England (AP) -- Former "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff had surgery after severing a tendon in his right arm in an accident in a London gym bathroom, his spokeswoman said Friday.

The 53-year-old actor, who played lifeguard Mitch Buchannon on the TV beach drama for 11 years, was shaving at a gym in the Sanderson Hotel on Thursday when he hit his head on a chandelier, showering his arm with broken glass, his publicist, Judy Katz, said.

Doctors operated to repair the injury and Hasselhoff spent one night at St. Thomas' Hospital in central London, Katz said.

"He's fine," Katz said by phone from New York. "He's out of the hospital and will resume filming tomorrow."

Hasselhoff is working on an ad campaign for Pipex, a British internet company, she said.

I'm sorry, not only was it a tasteless comment but it also proved I watched Knight Rider. I bow my head in shame.

No shame in that my friend. Think about how much better the world would be if each of us owned a Pontiac Trans Am that could talk, is impervious to attack and comes armed with a flamethrower.

Crap, I'd take William Daniels' dry sense of humor. He was the star of "Knight Rider," not Hasselhoff.

That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. His publicist couldn't make up a better excuse than that?
How do you hit your head on a chandelier while shaving?
I realize the guy's tall, but he's not that tall.
Was it the world's lowest hanging chandelier, or was he jumping on a trampoline while shaving?

But Buck, it wasn't just any chandelier. It was the chandelier of a gym bathroom! ;D

Kicked out of Wimbledon for being "steaming drunk" and hassling employees of the All-England.

Q: How much must you consume to be "steaming" drunk?

He was also the second-biggest star of "Boy Meets World." Behind Danielle Fisher, circa 1996-2000, of course.

Don't worry. I'm wondering about that, too.

Geek alert:

If gingerbread's friend is married to Michael Knight, the soap star, then his professional name is Michael E. Knight. He plays(ed?) Tad on All My Children.

There apparently was another Michael Knight, which meant he had to take on the E. to join the guild. Or something.

SHUT UP MY MOM WATCHES ALL MY CHILDREN!!!

IJAG,
That's indeed her husband. Actually, he's another ex ... or soon-to-be ex. Last I heard they were getting separated. But many bottles of red were consumed that night, and by the end of the evening she was going home to him. The real Michael Knight, not the guy who played him.

Well done, BYH. A threadjack to Danielle Fishel. Only she can trump William Daniels on "Boy Meets World." Daniels' acidic physician character in "St. Elsewhere" was also pretty good.

And it's Fishel...:P

You changed your name to Shawn Hunter? What a geek!!!

Oh well, better than Stuart Minkus. What WAS it with 1993 shows and the geek named Stuart?

Oh, and I'd give anything to get that Bears jersey off of her. But then, I'm a Packers backer. Wow wow wowza.

You're no longer invited to the wedding, buckdub. You and Flasher can touch yourselves while watching the Packers and Red Wings in picture-in-picture.  >:(

(Just kidding. Of course you're invited. But **** Favre and **** Green Bay.)

Is Michael Knight — the actor, not the Tv show character — related to former 'Brady Bunch' star Christopher Knight?
